Tourism Worker of the Year

Are you impressed with the service being offered by a particular tourism worker in Gozo?

The Gozo Tourism Association gives public recognition to people who offer excellent service by honouring them with an appropriate award.

Note: If the person being nominated is below 25 years during last birthday, the nomination will automatically be for the Young Tourism Worker of the Year Award

Application Form for Gozo Tourism Worker and Young Tourism Worker of the Year Award 2024

Once downloaded this form should be printed, duly filled, and returned back to the GTA’s office by not later than 6th January 2025.

Please note that you can even propose a nominee online. However, in this case, the Gozo Tourism Association will reach out to the nominenated persons to confirm whether they accept their nomination. If they do accept to be nominated, they will be required to complete the attached above application form, providing personal details, qualifications, testimonials, and any available certificates. This form should also be signed by a proposer, preferably the person who initially submitted the nomination.

Investment and Entrepreneurship in Tourism Award

Have you encountered an establishment, business, and/or entity  which stood out and in your opinion, merits to be recognised by this award?

The Investment and Entrepreneurship in Tourism Award is given yearly by the GTA to the best amongst nominated individuals/partners or businesses establishments/entities who have achieved outstanding accomplishments that have had significant impact on the tourism sector on Gozo

Gozo Cultural Niche Tourism Achievement Award

Have you attended an event or community project which particularly stood out in its originality, organisation/portrayal or encountered an individual or Gozo-based institution/ NGO/ organisation who demonstrated an innovative approach to develop creative initiatives that enhances the Gozitan tourism product to the visitor?

With this award the Gozo Tourism Association reaffirms its commitment to encourage and support new and innovative ideas to enhance the overall tourism product.
