AnatoArt

Queen Mary University of London, Malta Campus is pleased to welcome you to the first edition of AnatoArt, a collection of anatomical sketches and installations by first and second year medical students following an “Anatomy through Art and Mindfulness” Student Selective Component as part of their early medical studies at Queen Mary in Gozo.

The non-clinical, two-week programme, delivered by Abi MacLeod, is designed to strengthen students’ knowledge of Human Anatomy and to explore their own connections with the body through art and artistic expression. It also teaches students about how to apply mindfulness in everyday life.

Student Selected Components constitute an important part of the student’s medical studies, allowing them to explore any aspect of medicine and health that is of interest to them but not necessarily covered in the core curriculum.

Our students will go on to graduate Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery following the successful completion of their 5-year programme here on the island.

More than 300 Medical Students are currently following our MBBS programme in Gozo and Malta. 76 students have already graduated and are continuing their journeys as Junior and Medical Doctors around the world.
