As part of the 20th Anniversary Celebrations of the inception of the Gozo Youth Wind Band & Orchestra, the Gozo Youth Orchestra is collaborating with The Helping Hands Group (also celebrating its 25th Anniversary of its inception and originally renowned for its productions of musicals including Jesus Christ Superstar(1997, 2007), Les Miserables (1998), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (1999, 2003), Scarlet Pimpernel (2004), A Night with the Musicals, The Best of Musicals (2001), Les Mis Saigon Guerre, Christmas with the Musicals, What a Musical Evening amongst others) is proud to present The Music of ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER.
This Gala Concert under the artistic direction of tony bezzina and with special arrangement with the Really Useful Group Company Ltd of London will highlight the best of best of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical theatre masterpieces featuring a 70-strong orchestra, 16-piece backing chorus and children’s choir including songs from Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Phantom of the Opera, Starlight Express, Cats, Whistle Down the Wind, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Aspect of Love amongst others. A strong cast of pop singers will take part.
