–Opening Night: Friday 26 April, 7:30pm
VIVID is the first solo exhibition by Graham Gurr at Arthall Gozo. With large canvases painted with strikingly bright and intense colours, the artist invites us to delve into a world of celebration and good vibes. Fantasy lands painted partly with flatness and naivety are put together like patchwork.
The exhibition also includes two large paintings filled with human shapes in a pop art style: a social commentary on the lack of communication, physical interaction, and isolation brought in by social media.
It is an exhibition to enjoy, reflect on, and get carried away!
